Lapic LLC specializes in designing and manufacturing of six-axis coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
With the advent of six-axis CMMs, the measurement technology in mechanical engineering has reached the newest level which allows us to perform measurement by dimensional and shape inspection of parts with standard shapes as well as shapes based on the higher order splines.
For the first time, the state-of-the-art development allows:
- to carry out measurement of parts with internal cavities and “shaded” surfaces;
- to measure sculpted fine-textured surfaces (including inspection of gears with module 0.2);
- to increase measurement capacity to a considerable extent, particularly due to the exclusion of additional devices;
- to simplify operating conditions and reduce the measurement cost in several times.
Coordinate measuring machines manufactured by Lapic LLC are official measuring instruments which meet ISO standards and included into the State Register of Measuring Devices of the Russian Federation. Industrial operation of measurement technology in Russian and foreign enterprises has been proved to be efficient and reliable since 1992.
The measurement technology has the six-axis electronic and mechanical probing system for parts, including full volume inspection of gears and micro inspection using pointer styli.
The self-calibration system of the machine allows considering structural changes and wear of CMM’s mechanical parts to maintain its metrological properties.
